Dazed and Confused

Gostaria de partilhar convosco um dos meus filmes favoritos. Dazed and Confused não é muito conhecido e não precisa de o ser. É uma pequena maravilha do início dos anos 90 e retrata de uma forma muito fiel o ambiente dos anos 70 na América. Uma juventude inconsciente e sempre à procura de uma nova "trip", um tema que se mantém actual ainda hoje. As personagens estão muito bem escritas e o elenco é muito bom. OK, tem o Ben "box-office killer" Affleck, mas até ele faz um papel decente (a sério, não estou a brincar). O filme é para ser desfrutado, independentemente do estado de consciencia em que o espectador se encontre. A banda sonora é simplesmente perfeita e ouvir a School's Out na cena memorável do ultimo dia de aulas do ano mostra o que muitos de nós sentiram (ou sentem) sempre que as férias de Verão começavam. Vejam este filme. Nunca se vão arrepender.

I'd like to share with you one of my favorite movies. Dazed and Confused isn't widely known, nor does it need to be. It's a little gem from the early 90's and depicts the ambience of 70's America very faithfully. A dazed youth always looking for a new trip, a theme that stays current to this day. The characters are very well written and the cast is really good. OK, Ben "box-office killer" Affleck's there but even he does a decent job (really, I'm not kidding). The movie is to be thoroughly enjoyed, regardless of the viewer's state of consciousness. The soundtrack is simply perfect and listening to School's Out in he movie's memorable "last day of school" scene, shows what many of us felt (or feel) whenever our Summer Vacation began. Watch this movie. You'll never regret it.
